NMR Room 1 after 3.11
A mess just after Great East Japan Earthquake on Mar. 11, 2011. Everything on the shelves and drawers fell down and table itself moved over. In order to check the damage, it was Mar. 28 to enter the room for the first time after Mar. 11. Thereafter, it was the end of May before the building itself had been inspected for damage from the quake.

Arrangements of NMR Room 1 after 3.11
In the summer of 2011, we focused on the arrangements of NMR room. We decided to wait for the autumn to restart our magnet and NMR systems because of many aftershocks and lack of electricity. Fortunately, we had no damage on our magnets and NMR systems so far.

NMR System in IMR-OARAI, Tohoku Univ.
Our 12 T superconducting magnet and NMR spectrometer system installed in IMR-Oarai, Tohoku Univ. The 4He-liquid recondensing equipment has been installed onto the magnet. We can perform NMR experiments without transferring liquid-He by ourselves. This system is unique in its ability to measure NMR for transuranium materials in Japan.

J-PARC Muon facility (MUSE)
A high intensity pulsed muon beam is available for various experimental purposes. The beam slicer installed by JAEA-ASRC in the D1 area enables high time-resolution pulsed μSR experiments.
