About
Scope of workshop
In strongly correlated actinide systems, exotic electronic phenomena appear due to the competition between itinerant and localized nature of 5f-electrons. Among them, we focus on superconductivity of uranium-based compounds in this workshop. Particularly, the relation of unconventional superconducting ordering with magnetic anisotropy, Fermi-surface and multipolar degree of freedom will be addressed, to identify the superconducting paring mechanism.
Topics
- Magnetic anisotropy in UGe2, URhGe and UCoGe
- Possible multipolar ordering in URu2Si2
- Multi superconducting phases in UBe13 and UPt3
- New theoretical approach to the unconventional superconducting state
- Related phenomena in f-electron systems
