Superheavy Element Experiment

In Japan, combination of a linear accelerator in RIKEN (RILAC) and a gas-filled recoil ion separator (GARIS) was succeeded in high-intensity beam and high-effeciency of separator of beam and synthesied particle, and final they synthesised an isotope ²⁷⁸113 as a first-measured isotopes of the 113th element for the first time.（Institutes in collaboration: Saitama Univ., Niigata Univ., Univ. of Tokyo, JAEA, Tsukuba Univ., IMP (Lanchou, China), IHEP (Beijing, China), Tohoku Univ., Yamagata Univ., and Tokyo Univ. of Sci.）
