Reimei Workshop "Recent advances on nuclear shells, clusters, correlations and their knockout reaction observables" will be held at TU Darmstadt, Germany, from January 8th to 10th, 2025.
Nuclear shells, correlations and clustering are the aspects that characterize atomic nuclei. In order to understand such nature, the REIMEI project "Unveiling nuclear shells and correlations in exotic nuclei through knockout reactions" aims to combine the structure theory, reaction theory and experimental researches. The goal of the project is to unveil the nuclear shells and correlations in exotic nuclei by combining structure theory, reaction theory and experiment. To achieve this goal, progress has been made on both the theoretical and experimental sides. This workshop aims to conclude the REIMEI project "Unveiling nuclear shells and correlations in exotic nuclei through knockout reactions", to summarize the achievements made during the project and related researches, and to discuss future prospects.
The topics of this workshop include
This workshop will be held as a part of the activities of the Reimei Research Program "Unveiling nuclear shells and correlations in exotic nuclei through knockout reactions" funded by the Japan Atomic Energy Agency.
The program is available from here.
The workshop will be held at room 134 (first floor) of the S2/15 building in Technische Universität Darmstadt. See campus map for finding the location.
We ask the participants to book a room by themselves.
