An international workshop : "Experimental and Theoretical Advances in Fission and Heavy Nuclei" will be held on 12-13th December 2016 organized by ASRC of JAEA , Tokai, Japan. The meeting will mainly be devoted to new experimental and theoretical achievements in fission, super-heavy nuclei, nuclear reaction and structure of exotic nuclei.
This is the 6th meeting in the series of workshops held at ASRC (Tokai). The links to five earlier workshops can be found below.

All colleageus wishing to join the workshop are kindly requested to fill in the Registration Form and send it to organizers ( asrc-fission@jaea.go.jp ) by the 20th November 2016 . The program of the workshop will be announced by the end of November.
We expect the participants to arrive on 11th December.
The workshop will start on Monday, 12th in the morning, and end on Tuesday, 13th in the late afternoon.
The workshop will be held at the
Nuclear Science Research Institute at the Tokai campus (photo).
The workshop is free for all participants. Coffee breaks will be sponsored by ASRC, the lunches can be bought in the JAEA cantine (about 500 JPY).
We will have social dinner in the evening of Monday, 12th December. All participants who join the dinner are requested to pay JPY 5000 at the registration desk.
International lodging of JAEA
Most of the participants are expected to stay at the "Masago International Lodging" .
It is located close to the Nuclear Science Research Institute, about 0.8 km from the workshop building (J-PARC User Office). It costs about ~JPY2000 per night.

The number of rooms is limited. Please send your request for the lodging as soon as possible with the registration form.
Hotel
For those who prefers to stay in a hotel, there is a range of hotels in Mito-city (15 minutes by train from Tokai). The costs are from ~JPY 7000 per night. Please, contact the organizers for further help with this, if you wish to stay in a hotel.
The most convenient international airport is NARITA/TOKYO.
The easiest way to come to the Mito-city and/or Tokai is to use the Shuttle Bus (Rose Liner, JPY 3,100), which stopes at the "Tokai JR-Station (East Exit)".

JAEA bus is available for workdays from JR Tokai station to JAEA Main gate ( Time table ). To get into the Bus, please show your PASSPORT or your Identification card to the bus driver. TAXI is available (about JPY 1500).
