An international workshop : "Perspectives in Nuclear Fission" will be held on 14-16 March 2012 at JAEA, Tokai, Japan. The meeting will mainly be devoted to new experimental and theoretical achievements in fission. Attention will also be given to developments in the field of detectors and new facilities related to fission research.

The most convenient international airport is NARITA/TOKYO.
The easiest way to come to the Mito-city and/or Tokai is to use the Shuttle Bus (Rose Liner, JPY 3,000).
The recommended hotel at Mito-city (Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Mito-city) is very close to the bus stop "Mito JR-Station (South Exit)".
Or you can directly come to the conference hall (Ricotti) by getting off the bus at "Tokai JR-Station (East Exit)".
In each day, you will use the JR-EAST Railway to come to Tokai-station, from which the conference hall is one-minute walk distance.

We will have banquet at 19:00 in Thursday 15th at the restaurant "Uonuma Shokudo" (Japanese Foods) located in a building of the JR-Mito station. The building name is "EXCELL MINAMI" and the restaurant is on the 6th floor (see LOCATION ). Participants are asked to pay JPY 5,000 per person at the registration desk on the first day of the workshop.
Lunch box can be purchased at the conference hall with JPY 500 on each day.
The Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Mito-city is recommended.
The workshop will start on Wednesday 14th in the morning, and end on Friday 16th.
The workshop place is the JAEA conference hall (Ricotti,Photo), one minute's walk from the Tokai station of JR-EAST.
A visit to the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC) is planned in the afternoon on Thursday 15th. After the J-PARC visit we will have a workshop banquet in the evening. Workshop hall "Ricotti".
The workshop fee is FREE for all participants.
All participants are requested to fill in the Registration Form . Participants wishing to give an oral or poster presentation should also fill an one-page (A4) Abstract (Free Format). The form is returned to email@example.com . The deadline for the submission of Abstract and Registration Form is 11.Dec.2011. Authors of contributions selected as oral talks will be notified in the early January 2012.
